I’m torn between the Equip’d and the quick rack.
The quick rack appears to fold (as shown) which seems nice for trunk storage. But I haven’t seen any photos of the Equip’d rack folded their same. Is it possible or is it missing that feature?
Thanks.

Do yourself a favor and grab the far superior Mach 2. 1up riding on the coat tails of people recognizing that brand on some random Colorado highway but the Mach 2 blows their stuff out of the water. The original 1up inventor started his own company, improved on the 1up design, and killed it.
Looks better, completely tool-less, more lock options, more secure lock options (look up how often 1ups are targeted), significantly wider wheel flexibility without add ons, significantly higher weight capacity, looks 10x sleeker.
That’s before you even talk about 1up’s trashy rumors about how they do business.
Edit: and yes, it fold down like this as well
Out of those two options, I dont think you can really go wrong depending on what kind of bikes you’re trying to haul with it. I will say, it doesn’t looks like the Equip’d will fold down in the same way the Quick Rack does. I have the Heavy Duty 2″ with an add-on and I love it, its perfect for my needs and I’m confident that its going to last a very, very long time.
You could follow the advice about the Mach2 but you *will* be putting down a much bigger investment up front when all is said and done. QuickrStuff is nice of course. But so is 1Up in many peoples opinion, not to mention the only people I know who have a Quickr rack regularly jump at the opportunity to talk shit on 1Up like its some sort of badge of honor. Its a bike rack, after all.
