I found an ad for a wheel set which supposedly is built with DTswiss 240 hubs.
The pic shows a “240 straightpull” label on a hub that clearly doesn’t have straight pull spokes.
Is it something that DTswiss does, is it a counterfeit hub, or what??
Thanks!!

I think you answered your question.
Take a Pass…
I can’t see the label above 240.
But since DT Swiss labels are Red with white lettering and that is not, I’m inclined to think it is not a DT Swiss hub.
This is the bicycle equivalent of a three dollar bill.
The hub definitely isn’t straight pull. It’s *possible* it’s an older 240s hub that they have applied newer decals to – you can buy decals like these. But I would guess they’ve stuck the decals on a different hub to try and jack the price.
If it’s authentic, there should be a serial number somewhere on the hub body that you could use to verify. Ask them for a clear photo of the serial number.
They’ve also installed the brake rotor with inappropriate bolts. Probably not a serious safety issue, but doesn’t speak well of the current owner in terms of knowledge or maintenance practices.
