We recently embarked on a 9-day cycling adventure across Andalucia, Spain, covering a distance of 180km. We explored cities like Granada, Cordoba, Seville, and Ronda. To ensure we could freely explore the areas we visited, we packed our bikes in hard cases: one orange C-line 6-speed and the other amethyst 12-speed. We were confident that Wizz Air and Easyjet would take good care of our bikes, given the shipping costs!
Both bikes handled the terrain in and out of the cities, as well as the occasional few 1000ft of elevation gain on the smaller mountains, surprisingly well.
During our journey, the bikes attracted quite a few curious glances from cyclists and pedestrians. One even went as far as to point and laugh at us!
I think we will be having a fair few more adventures across the UK and abroad from now on.
