Of course you can, but you need tools and an education on bike repair. Try Park Tools videos on YouTube!

If you need specific advice, you’ll need to provide more information next time

  2. What’s wrong with it? Just the tire not seating correctly? You can absolutely do that yourself. Just search bike tire install on YouTube! On a bike like that you can practically do all the work you want, but some things require special tools. All depends on what needs to be fixed

  3. This is a super easy fix – at least if you know how it should look.

For the rear brakes, the cable has come out of the brake lever. It’s that round end and you should be able to get it back in if you look at how the other side is set up. Turning the barrel adjuster on the lever will show a gap you can slide the cable through. Make sure you also set the first piece of cable into the cable stop at the front of the frame. Then the brake themselves need to be reconnected. It’s probably best to look at a picture of how V-brakes should look at copy that.

For the tires, they probably just need air. They lose air over time.

Since the bike has been sitting, oil the chain, pivot points for the brakes, and the derailleurs with bike-specific oil.

  4. Your brake cables have been dislocated. On your left brake lever (right side of third picture) you need to slot the barrell shaped cable end back into it’s slot. Then mimick how it looks on the other side where the brake cable came off completely.
Then you need to slot the cable housing back into the cable stops. One of them is visible below the red stripe on the third picture.
Then you have to put the noodle (silver part visible in the second picture) back into its place. Google “v-brake” to see how it is supposed to look.

  5. I only see broken brakes and deflated tire should be easy, however personally i wouldn’t ride anything without disc brakes and you can get new bikes now pretty cheaply that come with disc brakes.
