so if you have a connector and it doesn’t stay in because it’s broken this is what you do get yourself a zip tie feed it through the connector then you’re just going to pull on that zip tie pull it pretty close like that and there you go now it’s not coming out and all you got to do and there you go hope it helped

Dude if this works you will be Da Man!
In in NY and with the weather changes everything gets so brittle, this would be big.
You have taught me some cool tricks of the trade, Thank You, from Johnstown,PA
Bro hell yeah!!! Works like a charm!
Great tip! Thanks.
Didn’t work for me
And I you need to release that connector, how can you do it if you lock it up with that zip tie?
I just pulled up to advance auto needing a pigtail and this pops up on my feed..I should make a video how to u turn out of advance auto parts! Your the best bro❤️
Honestly this guy has the best mechanic life hacks ❤
My Toyota Avensis had broken clips on every single clip. If it hadn’t have been for cable ties it would’ve cost me a lot more time and money to sort.
Not the sort of thing customers like to see but absolutely works fine.
Amazing
I just replace the connector, you're losing yourself money doing this
See people gassing this dude up for so many obvious or barely-helpful tips and I almost feel like theyre fake comments.
This is that "wow" tip for me. Ive been out here doing wild shit with glue and tape. This dude could sell a course but instead he's just dumping knowledge in tiny bites for free.
Loving these tips ❤
For extra security, you can loop the zip tie around the ignition coil and that slot in the connector and tighten it. Just cut it if you need to disconnect it.
What's the odds of it coming off anyway? Sometimes i wonder if they break because they're too tight anyway
Man alive I like how you do your profession and helping others
I always give you a thumbs up
He's not only competent but creative and you can tell he enjoys and takes pride in his work and saving his customers money where he can. It's more rare than ever to find someone like this. I wish he was in my town!
what if that part is broken? What then?
Se poi stringi la fascetta, questa non si staccherà nemmeno con le vibrazioni. Bel trucchetto! Bravo👌🏻
👍👍
Brilliant man! Thank you!
Does not surprise me it is COP connector that broke.👍
Daily fix of GB. Great little hack Brian. Thanks
good idea
Excellent tip!
Bam!
Great thinking
Using a zip tie like this might hold the connector physically, but it doesn’t guarantee proper electrical contact.
Over time, vibrations and heat can cause issues like misfires or ECU errors. There are proper repair kits (like Bremi 18-2011340) and tools like T10166 that prevent damage and ensure a reliable fix.
Would love to see a short showing the correct method — many people could benefit from that! 😊
what of connectors that are held tight by a silver clip?
I was told my sensor was broken was gone get charged 270$ plus parts saw this videos tried it and wala problem fixed 😂
I tried this but it didn’t work. Might need a bigger zip tie 😂
zip tie needs to be heat rated. Don't use just any dollar store zip tie, it'll melt like ice in hot engine bay lol
Not a bad idea, I would change the connector for a long short sight
how do you pull it out if you need to?
another great tip. I just broke the one to my coil pack today. only stumbled onto your channel about a couple months ago and your videos are short and sweet and very helpful thanks
Thank You, Very Cool. Do you recommend spray a little Electric connection cleaner. I heard be careful with DW40. Test 1st that it don’t weaken the harness. I have had that happen be careful with it.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this example vehicle is a VW/Audi. 🤔
Please torch the end of the cut off zip, everybody loves not being lacerated 😅
outfukingstanding…I own a 18yr old 4runner. I needed this. lol
Sadly my alternator clip broke both the press down part and the little piece at the bottom today😅. I had to improvise with good electrical tape till I get a new connector.
❤❤❤ THANK YOU!
