I'm debating between 2 used roadbikes: One more serious, carbon frame, ultegra, one more generic, tiagra, alu frame, but the price is half. I'm 183 cm, but short legs so size is definitely a concern, as well as i'm a bit afraid from the carbon frame: I have to keep it in a common area with a lot of bikes, i'm worried it gets hit and cracks.
Is the scott worth the extra? How sensitive really is the carbon?
