I've narrowed down my bike search to these two. I generally intend to use the bike for exercise and fun. About half the time I'd ride it on my local badly maintained roads. The other half of the time it would be on my wahoo kickr.

Specialized Diverge Aluminum – $1,600

I'd buy this from my LBS. They offer "free lifetime tune-ups and adjustments". I bought my current bike from them and would like to continue supporting them.

Orbea Terra M30 – $2,200

The below link is just for reference. I'm not actually buying it from this website. I can get it from a bike shop about 1 hour from my house. It's last years model so it's being sold on clearance. It wouldn't come with any after-sale services.

Which should I go with?

  1. $600 jump from 10 speed cues to a mixed bag of GRX and carbon frame. It’s not a bad price, and the Orbea looks nice.
