I did regular clean up and maintenance but it won’t go away, is it the free gear inside the back wheel that is malfunctioning or mucked up? Do I need to take apart the back wheel gear hub thingy?

Space horse! I had a brake disc rubbing that almost sounded the same. Did you check that?
Edit. After listening a couple times it doesn’t sound like the brakes. Maybe the free hub??
