No joke–saw these sitting in the recycling dumpster at the local dump. Who would do such a thing!?!?

I'm going to clean them up and get em running good again. With the help of AI:

Schwinn Paramount Track frame built between 1969 and 1973:

  • Material: Reynolds 531 double-butted steel.
  • Lugs: Nervex Professional.
  • Dropouts: Campagnolo horizontal track ends.

Gitane Olympic maybe 1977 or 1978:

  • full Nuovo Record groupset (crankset, hubs, headset, derailleurs, shifters)
  • Campagnolo dropouts
  • Reynolds 531 tubing

Anyone have any more info on these bikes, or suggestions on how I should restore them? I am a novice+ bike mechanic, and should even have the campy BB tool for these (from another vintage Gios Torino I restored a while ago). The chromed parts are all a bit copper oxidized. The Schwinn is freakin sexy with its sculpted lugs. It reminds me of a circus.
