I’ve had someone make this mistake with me, while I was in the truck drivers position. I honked at him as we began to drive forward so that he wouldn’t crash into me, and he ended up driving around to my passenger side and accused me of cutting him off. We were at a read light, so I just told him that he was in a turn lane, and I was in a straight lane, so he was just in the wrong lane to do what he wanted to do, and he just looked at me with this confused look on his face 😂, then the light turned green so I just drove off. I don’t blame him for getting mixed up, this was in NYC, and I made the mistake of going in that same lane the day before when I arrived 😂. But when I did it I just took my L, there were too many cars for me to merge back
It happens to me often in the roundabouts (+3 lanes) sometimes people behind are quite fussy and lazy they prefer honking even if it is a clear mistake and do not let you pass even if you have a direction.
The van driver saw it and sped up to prevent the car from correcting his mistake. Yeah it was the car's fault but the van driver was being a dick and could've easily prevented this by slowing down a little. The role of the driver is to prevent accidents even if they wouldn't be your fault
I've only encountered student drivers a few times that I've noticed while driving my big rig. But I do my best to keep an eye on them/what they are doing while giving as much space between us and possible. I'm so glad you teach your students what to watch out for!
A woman's initiative is the best, they think more most of the time. I told my ex she was wrong and then had to apologise and say she was right when it happened, her exact words were "women know best" I had no come back to this lol

don’t get in the left lane unless ur gonna turn 💀 even if it’s by mistake, make the turn and then get back on track another way
