SL0WRID3R on October 28, 2025 8:14 am Freewheel ratchet has kaputt (or have a sticky pawl) I think… it’s a replacable part best ask bike shop to help.
MrRichardH on October 28, 2025 8:20 am Tell the mechanic that the hub isn’t engaging and let them figure out why.
vladislav-turbanov on October 28, 2025 8:27 am Tell the mechanic “hello”. He’ll figure out the rest, if he’s a real mechanic
re-velo on October 28, 2025 8:33 am If you want to do it diy you need a special removal tool or do it this way: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=539w0itsYbs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=539w0itsYbs) And then just screw on a new single freewheel. To check the chain you need a chain wear indicator and to replace the chain you need a chain tool, but its otherwise easy.
