Rode my brommie for 2 1/2 years. Last week the first catastrophic failure on the frame.
Never loaded too heavy, but always on the cusp of max. load with clothes, myself and some cargo.
Took good care of it, maybe I could wash it a bit more often, but the tube of the front tire is still the original. Never any issues.
One day during riding, I noticed after going over a bump that the frame suddenly felt unstable. Stopped and the frame where the lower part of the rear rack and the lower frame meet was snapped in to.
Shout-out to my Brompton junction. They had the replacement part in stock, 7 year extended warranty covered it. Repair completely free!

not unheard of, a few of these and the t line rear frame (same) have failed. For the Tline if you add the rear wheel major failure too (cracking) its not too great records.
Wonders if that’s one of the triangles which falls under a window of “Watch out for this” my local Junction mechanic warned me about (https://www.reddit.com/r/Brompton/comments/1nj9in4/comment/nepst23/) 🤔
Isnt this under the warranty?
It’s very odd to see crack titanium.
Is the 7 year extended warranty on top of the original warranty?
