This is a Merida Merida 5000 2022. I had my LBS installed a Kocevlo X01 and he encountered this problem and couldn’t solved it. https://www.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/comments/1o74rvx/kocevlo_carbon_handlebars_vs_fsa_smr_spacers_and/ I saw this guy posted the same specs as mine with the same handlebar but it won’t work still.
Try tightening the stem until the play comes out then tighten the pinch bolts. If that fails check the plug in your stem to make sure it’s alright. I hope this helps a bit.
Take it back to LBS and make them install it corectly. What you hear is headset assembly scrapin on a top tube, most likely missing parts/wrong spacers after the split ring so the dust cover is scraping.
Do not drive it like this
