Looks like a micro crack.
Will def. drop it by the bike shop for inspection, but wanted to hear your thoughts.
If it is a tear, is something like this repairable?
I had these wheels (syncros 60 1.0s) on what I thought was a good second-hand deal 🙈

Probably cosmetic
It’s the beginning of the end. That’s a very common occurrence with a lot of rims, like WTB and others. I’d start looking around for new wheels, because chances are, the other rim has the same cracking starting already.
I’d also be a bit concerned by the amount of thread showing on they spoke? Too late now but that ain’t right
