During a weeklong cycling adventure I explored the area surrounding Berlin, a small portion of the Rügen island in the North, a bit of the Bavarian Alps and the beautiful nature around Salzburg and Bad Aussee. In Germany I slept at hosts from 1nitetent and I met very kind and interesting people, it was definitely a highlight of the whole trip. I mainly followed cycling routes however I've ridden on a lot of gravel and even some singletrack, thankfully the paniers could handle it.
In Austria I chose campings and it was amazing to leave my heavy gear in the camping and ride my bike mostly unloaded. This way I climbed to a lake that's around 1700m high in elevation.
