Turn your head. You will not be able to turn and roll backward when still looking forward.

When you spring up to jump you gotta twist and lead with your body more. Your bike will follow your body. When you get to the highest point of your jump your body should already be facing the other direction for the most part.

A lot of good advice here but one thing that cracked them for me was going faster. It seems scary but I find that the free rotation you get from speed is crucial. Also I can roll out much easier with some momentum

Do exactly what you’re doing but turn your head over your shoulder

Everyone says turn your head (my 180 is bad). I did 5 today out of about 50 trys. I know I’ve got to turn my head – if I could do that I could do a 180! ASPIRE to turn your head is probably what they should be saying. Also I spent ages calving too much when learning which made landings uncontrollable so aspire to not calve too.

Great fundamentals already. Execution is really good with the carve, hop and pull.
You just have to turn harder, and tell yourself to hop higher (not necessary but will help you feel like you have more time).

You’re leaning back and your bike is still going forward without you.
When you spin, make sure your body still travels forward with your bike.
