According to a 2008 study from Rucker State University of New Jersey, the Netherlands is the safest country in the world for cycling, even without helmets. This remarkable safety record is due to the Netherlands extensive network of 35,000 km of highquality bike paths and a strong cultural respect for bicycles. The country is home to more bicycles than people with over 22 million bicycles. They also get stolen a lot. Estimates range from over 900,000 bikes stolen a year. So, don’t forget to lock your bike.

Maybe most safety but they are a danger to drivers they dont look are allot on mobile and ignore road rules its insane how many close calls i had just becaus they throw them self in front of cars. Even when its the cyclelist fault when hit by a car driver is the one at fault, this is why cycelist dont care about the road rules.
