i have been battling with my seat. i am a nervous rider with a fear of not touching the ground. i have been watching the training videos on fit and confidence. 5'2" female on a Small 27.5/4 Giant Talon. I raised my seat a few times and then road around in the grass for a bit and settled on this height. i will say i can really feel my weight in my wrists now. my seat was previously really low but also way back to try to make room for my leg. Any thoughts? Sorry for blurriness, my goats were operating the camera.

Looks fine. How it feels to you is most important
Get a dropper post! You can change it as you need!
I went through a lot of fitment shit and, honestly, in the end realized that the X factor was me and my posture and how I rode.
People will say to raise your bars up or whatever if you’re too heavy on your hands, but sometimes…you just gotta learn to be less heavy on your hands.
That looks like a fine fit for pedalling. Seat height should obviously optimize pedalling efficiency but it should never make you feel unsafe. Make sure you can get a foot down on flat ground. Then remember to ALWAYS throw your uphill door or you’ll have some real silly spills.
