Having recently purchased a Tailfin top tube bag for my longer gravel rides and having an organised ride this Sunday (Gravel X Thetford) I wanted to make it as functional as possible. So whilst 3D printing a small container for my Zero tablets I wondered about making a basic designed container to put inside the bag for putting Haribo’s in, and in particular my favourites, Tangfastics, for a little energy boost whilst riding.
Of course I could have the open bag in there but it might mean stopping to get them out or having sugar go everywhere when getting them from a poorly located open bag, so this little container sits at the top of the bag and can be accessed once the top is flipped with ease.
Still allows me to carry a combination of bars and gels (5 in total) and the little drinks tablet holder itself but it does mean no room for any sort of battery that the cable hole at the front allows for, but that’s something I’m willing to miss out on, on this coming ride at least
