Edit: It’s actually the 21T to 17T jump that feels too steep. I might make it 19T someday and sacrifice elsewhere. The chainring is 42T

I’ve been a 90s GT tragic most of my life, but what got me into the xbike ethos was an old Specialized build on a UK forum from 2008. If anyone is interested in that particular build I will try to dig up that bookmark. Probably on a old harddrive somewhere… but I’ve always had a soft spot for these old hardrocks and stump jumpers. The geometry is perfect.
