Any reviews for this bike? Full carbon MTB under 3000 usd Seems like a good deal but zero reviews on the website and hardly any review on Youtube etc. What's the catch ?

Good question, I am curious too. I know giant is a legitimate brand, is it just a model that’s being replaced so they are clearing out this model?
Old model. Mid spec. Not slack. Fox 34. Hard pass.
That seems like a bit much for an SLX build with single pot Tektros and a tranzx dropper. Markdown is due to age, but nothing crazy has happened in MTB geo since like 2019 maybe so that isn’t a huge deal.
Suspension is really good though and the rest of the parts aren’t half bad, and carbon frame is always nice. I’d mark this as a solid “not bad” deal, but it’s not a steal. The original price is pretty unrealistic.
I’ve got the x version, absolutely adore it. Live valve is great, Fox factory at both ends is incredible. I do a pretty broad variety of trail riding and it giggles up all I throw at it. I’m not big on jumps and bike park stuff, so I can’t comment on it’s ability there, and the non x would be slightly more oriented towards xc than park anyway.
I have a friend who bought the non x last year on sale, on a whim, but he never rides the thing, which is a damn shame.
I can’t really see why more people don’t get into giants in the US. I’m in Australia and they’re pretty popular. It’s an extremely cheap way to get into a carbon bike with carbon wheels, everything else I looked at was thousands more to get similar spec. I’d buy another one in a heartbeat, very happy.
Edit: mine is a trance x pro advance 1, for reference. The 2 is obviously going to be lower spec.
