Canadian rookie Hayden Zablotny stunned everyone by taking first place with a fearless second run packed with tricks like a 360 flatspin and a flat-drop backflip, earning a score of 96.00. Thomas Genon from Belgium followed close behind with a 94.35, and Tom Van Steenbergen from Canada rounded out the podium with a 94.00. It was easily one of the tightest finishes in Rampage history.

Unfortunately, the weekend wasn’t without serious injuries. Several riders crashed hard during practice and competition. Spain’s Adolf Silva under-rotated a double backflip and was air-lifted to hospital with a back injury. Sweden’s Emil Johansson suffered a dislocated hip after falling at the edge of a cliff but managed to hold on until he was evacuated. Both riders later shared updates saying they were recovering and thankful for the support.

Despite the rough moments, the event once again showed how far mountain biking has progressed. The riders pushed the limits of what’s possible on a bike, while the organizers and medical teams kept things running safely. In the end, Rampage 2025 will be remembered for its mix of mindblowing tricks, close scores, and the reminder that this contest is as dangerous to ride as it is amazing to watch.

[Music] Come on. Spinless about the execution of that flat drop spin. A tail whip. There’s the big drop. The spin is good. A flat spin. And what a clean run. Truth. Smart. Holy into the knoblin. did this perfect yesterday. Looks perfect again. I smooth [Applause] directly down the heart. Look at this shoot. Three tes and it’s money. What are up Nikolai? He gets this rowdy coming up to the step down. A back flip. gets the one foot can for that so early, Cam. That was crazy. So early. All right, hit the brake. Coming up. Slowing down. Come on. [Music] Huge spin coming up here. Yes. Yes. But Tom has back flip tuck. No. No. So clean. Oh, so good, dude. Dallas. This shark fin. [Applause] Huge flag. What? Jump here. Stylish three table and he’s going to and the ability to get under control to make it into the double drop. Huge strength of this run. Had so many big moments that top. He did the flat spin somewhere else up top. [Applause] He told us yesterday, “I’m just out here so grateful to finally be at Rampage. I’m digging trails.” Reed Bogs put into that two spot. Long onto the lily. That’s such an early start and he nails it. He’s getting so confident with that. [Music] Super clean in the big shoot. Oh, spins that one. We didn’t see that in run one. The ste is still there. This is the moment of truth. Oh, it’s the step down here. This is also a crazy thing coming up. Slowing down. Hold on. Come on. Nailed it. He pulled for that so early, Cam. That was crazy. So early. All right, hit the brakes. Yeah, Hayden. Opposite flat spin. He gets it. Oh, a little big, but Hayden’s going to bring it to the bottom. Talk about clutch moments. That was so smart. Minimal compromise as well because he did the flat spin somewhere else up top. [Applause] He told us yesterday, “I’m just out here so grateful to finally be at Rampage. I’m digging trails.” A big thank you to all of our sponsors and a big congratulations
