  1. I think this seller is so high, it is going to be hard to make a deal. The contrary point would be that the ad suggests the seller is likely not super-sophisticated on pricing a bike, so it might just be a case of the seller not understanding the worth of the bike. The Cateye electronics and Schwalbe tires, for example, add zero value and there is no description of the things that might add value, or would be important to a knowledgeable buyer — like which Shimano group set it has. I certainly don’t think the bike is worth more than $300. I recently sold a very similar Allez for $150 – but was trying to get it sold quickly. I’d expect this bike to be listed for $300 for a buyer willing to wait for a sale, and sell for $200-$250. For a quick sale, I’d expect it to be listed at $200.
