down. Give me a little shimmy. And just from a quick shake down, nothing really soaked through or penetrated. Just a little bit of beads on the outside. Absolutely no wet. Those drops are from just now when I opened it up. So, just initially, I’m a lot more soaking wet. I mean, look at the bottom part right here. A true test. Yep. Look at that.

  1. Patagonia vs northface as cheap well you can spend tons of money on both brands to not get wet..neither of both are cheap tho. Also there is a repellent washing fluid for rain jackets to make em waterproof again if the sealing is lacking.

  2. The north face is resolve 2 jacket that does not have water resistance provided and suits everyday urban use. While Patagonia by the look of it has oficial 20000 mm rating which is not stormproof but decent hiking jacket. This comparison is shit

  3. No difference really I owned a trespass jacket North Face jacket and both did the exact same both lasted the same amount of time in the rain you have to remember most of these jackets are made at the same sweatshop in China

  4. I just spent $65 + $30 shipping for a supposed vintage Australian made japara weatherproof jacket, I love this vid cause if it doesn’t rain in hawaii, I might have to steal this shower test idea for my YouTube vid 😂

  5. All brand new rain jackets will come with a DWR coating from the factory which is what makes the water bead off. The north face was clearly used or defective. Once the DWR is worn off it can be easily reapplied with a product like NikWax or Graingers
