Good day! I have gathered by group set, wheel set and other parts – but I'm left with a question: Colnago V3RS (USD 2,300) vs USD Trek Emonda SL5 (1,020)?
Why Colnago? I've been a Colnago fan-boy since I started following road cycling in 2018.
Why Trek? I've been wanting to go full internal and I enjoy climbing and descending so a good climbing bike is my preference.
I'm coming from a aluminum rim break bike, so I have no concept on carbon and disks. I have have not ridden either.
Considerations:

The Trek is cheaper, but will somehow always look at the Colnago….

The Colnago – I won't be upgrading anytime soon….
Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on this?
