Ich bin Manuel Schad von SWT Sports – heute sind wir beim Motorrad Schmidt in Salzburg. Nach einem Jahr holen wir mein Bike zurück, das dort stand, und machen es wieder fit für die Kosovo-Tour! 🔧
Gemeinsam mit Benny und Jörg checken wir Technik, Batterie, Öl und Ventile, und ihr bekommt exklusive Einblicke in die Werkstatt von Motorrad Schmidt. Natürlich gibt’s auch wieder Spaß, Chaos und jede Menge Benzingeruch!

Hello, I’m Manuel Schad from SWT Sports. Today: technology. We’re at Motorrad Schmidt in Salzburg. What are we doing in Salzburg? Good question – picking up your moped! Yes, my motorcycle has been with you in Salzburg for quite a while now. Did people like it? Yes, very much so! Well, it was very well received – especially at our Oktoberfest in 2024. People were really happy to be able to see something cool. So we’d like to say thank you in advance – and hopefully again! Yes, we’ll just bring the bike over here for a wash on the way home. Yes, that’s fine. Okay – perfect. So, we’ve picked up the motorcycle – a year after the tour. That was around the same time. No oil change, no valve adjustment, nothing. And Motorrad Schmidt has agreed to lend us the lift – for work materials and for help. And then we’ve got it ready. And what have we got it ready for, Benny? For Kosovo. What is Kosovo? Beautiful country! Ah, Kosovo – exactly. That’s in the Balkans. That used to be, uh, former Yugoslavia. And last year we visited Benny, his brother, and then Benny was a bit disappointed that we hadn’t been there yet. And so we’re going to see him now – and have fun with him. You actually know what fun is from our channel. Benny doesn’t quite know yet – we’ll see. So, stay tuned! That’s why we’re loosening the box completely. Jörg is just loosening the last screw. Now we’re trying to lift it very slowly – look. Okay, now it’s in the same position as the battery. Now comes Benny, the new cameraman. Have you introduced yourself yet, dude? Instagram account, TikTok – Tinder… We looked beforehand – because we’re smart – where the plus and minus are, right? It’s important not to pinch any cables. So, now the thing goes in there, right? All by itself… For all you people out there – I don’t know how Jörg did it – it won’t work at all. The battery won’t fit in there! Jörg, what did you do? That can’t be possible! Write underneath again: “It doesn’t fit!” And – it’s totally wrong! We were just lucky. We’re doing well there. Aren’t you worried that we’ll move in now? No. But that can happen to us, right? At the first push! Twice a day xxx – that’s the secret. Look what you still have in stock for the 2-valve engine, right? Yes, unbelievable! State-of-the-art model, right? Just rolled off the production line, right? Well done! Great. The next part of the adventure in my life. I’ve stretched the rubber – those are the milled ones from Motoren-Israel. We tested them out – they’re really tasty, aren’t they? And then here, right? Look, you press on it a little – and look: nothing has changed since Dakar. A dream! Now we look at the other side – and on the other side we have to turn the engine again, 180°. That’s a bit too far… That’s fine! So that the teeth don’t run dry, right? So about three-quarters of a liter. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7… It will take a month until we get to Kosovo – Germans learn to stress and have stress. We time the turning. No one can say that we’re not learning anything! We need people again – so, from that point of view, we would be delighted if you came by. But where are we right now? In Salzburg! If you want or need a BMW motorcycle – or service, of course – please come by! So, the Schmidt company has been around for one and a half, almost two years now. And the general shop has been here for almost ten years. Thank you very much. I’d like to say thank you for coming by and for working with us – it’s obviously something different for these people.
