Hello,
Been struggling with bunnyhops since I started bmx. I'd super appreciate any feedback on technique or my setup. I'm 6'1 with a new Subrosa Malum that has 21" tt, 13.2" chainstay and 9" rise bars. I have a feeling it's more my stance and technique rather than my bike.
Thank you!

Tuck your feet in more and stretch your arms.
There’s more techniques to hop even higher, but I’d say start to practice this first😉
a man in this sub made a sketch of how bunny hops work, check it out personally help me a lot https://www.reddit.com/r/bmx/s/UhPoKEInSu
and also you are big my mans, try maybe a bigger bar? there is a cult bar that is 9.75 (obviously other brands has that size.) or another brand bar 9.5 i think i will make the bunny hops better, and also 10 bar exist but i think they just too big but idunno men you are big so it could help.
Looks good in general. The height is determined by how high you can lift your bars and suck up the back end. Try to be as explosive as possible with your jump. No shame in training some jump squats on the side to articulate how to be more explosive. Set markers for yourself so you can improve height over time in a measurable way
Bring your knees as high as you can lol
I suggest putting an obstacle in front of you that’s about as high as you can hop. You’ll get it better if you’re forcing yourself to clear something.
Gotta bring your knees up. Otherwise the height will never be there.
Maybe a higher threshold than the ceiling of a parking garage? Thought you were gonna bonk your head in a pipe.
