  1. Dawg it’s basically timing, I could give you my life story but for the sake take my word for it. You have bunny hops, that’s the key. What helped me was getting higher. What you’re seeing in the yt-er is someone who’s probably hopped onto something that tall before. This is all muscle memory. He’s remembering how close the bars had come to his thighs, how hard he had to pull up, how hard his heels rocked the pedals. Your body looks like it’s doing this for the 27th time, not “life-or-death” or more realistically not “oh-fuck-please-don’t-break-my teeth.” So if you want hops like this you have to put yourself in positions where these hops are necessary, the swag comes later

  2. It is always the timing of the push of the handlebars out that was kinda hard for me. Hopping over something kinda corrected my timing with bunnyhops, learning the “handlebar push” makes learning barspins down the line a bit easier.
