2024 Specialized Status 2170 with ‘02 Marzocchi shiver. Just installed the fork (Fsa headset with Fsa crown race adapter) and there’s no play whatsoever, but there is a decent sized gap at the bottom. crown race looks set properly, what could be the cause if it? I might have put this adapter over the original crown race but I don’t think I did that.
