I’ve found in the past the 2 spec for Giant is a great place for value/starter. They have gone a little weird lately with Tektro brakes but Fox forks. But still generally true.
A Trance 29 is a pretty decent do it all bike that skews a bit towards the Xc side more than the enduro.
