Wore through my Gravelking SK 29×2.1 and decided I want something more meaty and went with Schwalbe’s Wicked Will 29×2.25. On the stock Aleous 35V wheels they measure under 55mm wide and just clear the stays. After this ride I added frame protection to my fender mount between my seat stays since these tires are like to hold onto rocks and pull them through my frame where my Gravelkings just flung them.
