I went bike packing in the east fiords of Iceland in Winter just after a terrible snowstorm I took my trusty sa Frontier on the day of the ride the road was closed down to back again so I had to wait for the roads to be cleared before I could drive down to my starting point my camera fell off the tripod and broke so I had no choice but to use my GoPro and my drone to make the best film I possibly could my route was going to take me 25 mil from backer to a hiking Hut but the snow was so bad I didn’t make it anywhere near to where I wanted to get to it was super slow going with my bike getting stuck in the snow drifts and after several hours and losing my front break to a mechanical I had no choice but to retreat down the mountain and as the night grew in I felt like I’d failed I wanted to make the most of my trip despite yesterday’s mishaps and after a freezing night in the van I made it to sadis fura rode down the rainbow road to the church and carried on to the Eastern side of the F and although things didn’t go to plan I felt like I made the most of a bad situation
