My first look at the fully redesigned Pinarello F Series road bikes – designed for racing – and nothing else – the F9, F7, F5, F3. Seen up close and in person at the Italian Bike festival in Misano Italy.
I recently spent a few unforgettable days at the Italian Bike Festival in Misano, Italy, set right on the legendary Misano MotoGP Circuit. There’s something special about standing on a world-class racetrack surrounded by the best in Italian cycling.

The New Pinarello F-Series: Sleeker, Faster, and Even More Italian

Front and center at the Pinarello booth was the new F9, immediately catching my eye. While it looks similar to last year’s model at first glance, up close, you notice that everything’s been slimmed down. The down tube and seat tube are narrower, and the entire frame has been made thinner for better aerodynamics.

The fork has been redesigned, with a tweaked rake for improved handling, and the head tube is thinner as well. To make all this work, Pinarello re-engineered the internal cable routing, maintaining a clean, aero look that the brand is known for.

Right beside it, the F7 lineup offered a more affordable style but still accommodates 32mm tires, perfect for today’s riding trends. The F5, in a striking blue, and the F3, in deep red, demonstrated the craftsmanship Pinarello is famous for. Having seen the Pinarello paint factory firsthand, I can say these frames look even better in person.

A Time Trial Rocket

One of the true standouts was Pinarello’s new time trial bike. Its razor-thin, aerodynamic profile looks fast even standing still — a perfect example of form meeting function.

Final Thoughts

Walking the aisles at Misano reminded me that bike festivals still matter — the design, the passion, and a place to get excited about riding. Pinarello’s new F-Series proves the brand isn’t just maintaining its legacy; it’s evolving it.

That’s all for now — a quick look at Pinarello’s new colors and updates from the Italian Bike Festival 2025. Stay tuned for more detailed ride impressions once these bikes hit test fleets.

And as always — keep the rubber side down, PEZ fans.

All right, PEZ fans. I was recently at the Italian bike festival in Misano, Italy. It took place at the Misano Moto GP track, which was actually a very cool space to host the event. As part of it, there was a grand fondo that I rode. We teed off at around 7:00 in the morning and did a lap around the track to get started. That was a really cool experience. It was my first time at the Italian bike festival. And I got to say, my overall impression was, “Wow, this show is happening.” And of course, most of the brands that I saw there were Italian brands, but it is a big market for them, and it appears to be thriving. Of course, they don’t have to deal with those crippling tariffs like you have in the US, which are driving costs up for everyone and just making it so much harder to do business and exist in the cycling industry. But nevertheless, things seem to be thriving in Italy. And I saw some pretty cool stuff. Right up front here, this is the new F9. First of all, I was really struck by the color, which is amazing. But overall, the frame looks the kind of the same, but more or less it’s very different. Now, all of the tubes, the down tube especially, is narrower. You can see this on the bike. The seat tube as well is narrower. In fact, overall, the bike has been made thinner to allow it to cut through the air more efficiently. Up front, the fork has got a new design. They’ve changed the rake a little bit as well to improve the handling. The head tube has got a new shape and is thinner. You can see where they’ve really taken material out on either side of the head tube to make it thinner. And as part of that, they had to redesign the internal cable routing to get down inside the bike and work with that new narrower profile. This is the F7, the next one down in the lineup. Showing off in a really beautiful way here. The bikes are designed to take up to 32 mm tires, which is going to be pretty popular with today’s riding style. I think the last time I rode 25s was seven or eight years ago. They were showing the F5 in this really striking blue color. I will say the Pinterella Paint Factory, I’ve been in it. I’ve seen them doing the work and I’ve seen the frames they’ve been turning out and I got to say those are some of the nicest looking frames I have seen. And while these bikes are definitely more expensive than a lot of other comparable rides, you’re certainly paying for some of that cache to ride a Pinterella. On the other hand, it certainly is a nice feeling when you’re riding a bike that’s this cool. So, I kind of get that. This one’s the F3. Beautiful red color, really deep sheen to the to the paint tones. So, they’ve done a really nice job. Hopefully, we’re going to get one of these to ride and I can tell you a little bit more about that uh when that happens. But for now, just enjoy the eye candy. The other bike that I saw that I thought was really cool was this Pinerella time trial bike. I haven’t seen a bike that looks this fast in quite some time. Look at how thin this bike is. The profile of this slicing through the air. This would be like you’re riding a knife blade. It is so thin, so aerodynamic and undeniably fast looking. Just an unbelievably fast looking bike. never fails to, you know, get the old juices going. Walking around the bike show looking at at the eye candy. All right. Well, that’s all I have for you on that. A quick look at the new colors from Pinerelloo and the new F series. Stay tuned. We’re going to try and get more information on that when those bikes are available to the press. In the meantime, thanks for watching. Don’t forget to like and subscribe and keep the rubber side down. Hey, and if you see something you like out there, drop a comment below. Let me know what you think. I will do my best to answer and reply to every one of them. All right, pest fans. Peace
