Back in the summer, 2021…

I must have been young and brave (or maybe just naive) to decide to go for a ride on a 42°C day, not knowing what it would be like.

I rode from Coquitlam to Steveston Pizza Company in Richmond (35km), all just for a pizza. After finishing it (I couldn't finish the whole thing, but I got close!), I decided to head to Stanley Park in Vancouver (another 23km)—just because I felt like it at that moment.

I stopped at Starbucks for a cold drink and then did one lap around the park. After all that, I decided to take the SkyTrain home 🤣.

Just like all of you riders who love long distances, pushing and testing yourselves in harsh environments, no one asked me to do it. I just wanted to.

Years later, the memory is still vivid, even though I haven't ridden in a while. And it makes me eager for another test.

Wondering what's next, but I hope I can share my new experiences with you all 🙂
