Hey fellas, used to ride BMX back in high school and looking to get back into some trail riding.
Looking for an entry hardtail to start before making a larger investment in FS.
What bikes should I be looking for in terms of quality and being cost effective? Are specialized, giant and Cannondale still solid? I’m open to a used bike as well.

I also can grab a 21 Cannondale trail 5 for $450 or 21 Giant Talon 4 for $400 (sounds like he rode it quite a bit)
