Well, hello and uh welcome to my channel. Uh this road trip is um from St. Orbins to home Abis Langley. So uh this will be a a back uh back a back road driving down a lane. I think I’ve done that one once before, but um I’ll I’ll do it again anyway. Um as I’ve got to go home anyway. And I I also I’m going to do a stop off as well. Um there’s a little wood I want to go into and have a look around. See if I can find anything worth uh photographing. So yeah. Right. So, uh, we’re just passing, uh, St. Orbert’s Hospital entrance. Well, the road that leads to St. Orbert’s Hospital down there. Um, so this is Batchwood Drive. Um, this is the uh, back end of St. Orans, I suppose you’d say. But if I stayed on this road that I’m on, it will take me to uh Hamlabstead. Um, easy as that. Got a police cars about to spotted. That’s the second one. Oh, no. That was an ambulance. Sorry. That was paramedic. So yeah, this is uh 20 mph it’s telling me now, but I don’t believe that. I haven’t seen a sign saying 20 mph, so I’m staying at 30. Well, it should be 20 mph. Oh, there’s another police car. [Music] Now this is 40 miles an hour down this bit and up to 40. Thank you. So this is down this road here with um where the uh the Roman remains are. Um the valer I can’t say that word. Roman uh Roman uh ruins. um just off on our left there. If you go down there, it’s down there. Um so yeah. [Music] Right. So [Music] it’s up to 14. I think it’s yeah it’s just after this round about we can turn left and go down the lanes. So uh not a long one again be a short one but say I’m going to stop one from going in the woods. I do like a nice wood. Hope it’s got that indicator on. So take a chance off here. So this is the uh I believe this is Hemstead road I think. Is it? Yeah. He road. But we are going down here. So I’m suitable for heavy goods. It’s not a very well madeup lane, I must admit. So, uh, we just hope we haven’t got any fly tippers. Oh, saying that. There we go. There’s some fly tipping. [Music] Last time I came down here, well, last time, but one of the times I came down here, I found a dead horse, a dead pony, actually. I think it was uh underneath a tarpolin. Yeah, somebody had dumped it, which okay, I don’t agree with one little bit, but um of course it costs so much to uh because it costs so much to uh dispose of those. I suppose. Yeah, that was the cheapest option, wasn’t it? So, uh, never mind. I did phone the police and, uh, make them aware of it and they said yes, they had had, uh, a couple of other phone calls about it and they had notified Hampshire County Council, which uh, should have there’s some more flight tipping. Somebody having a look at it. if it wasn’t him that was fly tipping cuz if it was sir I’ve got your number. That’s what I like about using um dash cams as uh recording driving videos. They’re very good and they do pick up double plates very nicely. So yeah, this is um Potterus Potter Grouch Lane. There we go. I’ll put it on the screen. Well, it’s a 60 mph road and believe me, sometimes they do do 60 mph down here. That’s me. Hello, Dr. Walker. But uh now it’s nice and steady. I think we’ve stopped raining. Oh, the mist has gone. Yeah, it’s more like mist than rain. [Music] [Music] Don’t move over, madam. Sheesh. God, [Music] we’re in Bedment Lane now. So, changes. Careful through these. Here we go. So, uh, yeah, this is a bit lane and we go under, I believe, the M1. Oh, crap. We got We got the travelers here as well. I say ain’t been there for a while. Very nice. Oh, flight tip. Oh, look at that. Honestly, dirty. Bleep bleep bleep bleep. Yeah, this is where the main flight tip comes on. You come down here, down the bottom of here usually. [Music] [Music] Oh, it’s not okay. usually somewhere around about there. Now, I think these are the woods I want to go in on my BR. Oh, look. There’s loads of people in here as well. People take their dogs walking in there quite a bit. Is there anywhere to park? They’ve taken up all the parking spaces. No, there isn’t. There’s one. Okay, that’s handy. Right, I’m going to park up in here and we will resume this uh video. Well, hello. And um we’re back driving this route again. Nice little walk through the woods for a I don’t know how long it took. I can’t remember. 3/4 of an hour. But uh it was quite nice. got some pictures. Uh if you uh go to my other uh channel, you’ll see I walk in the woods. So yeah. Uh so we’re back on uh Bedman Lane where we left off. It won’t be for long for you, but uh not far from uh home now, I suppose. 5 minutes, maybe 10. We survived these nasty bends here. And they are some nasty bends. Go. I tell you what, it’s a bit warm out there. It says 14 um centigrade on on my car, but I tell you what, I’ve got a a t-shirt uh a jumper and this uh coat on over the top and I’m quite warm. Good say I’ve got got a damn farid bike. But that was a nice little walk. Uh uphill to begin with and then downhill the rest of the way. Let me get rid of that leaf off my windscreen. That’s better. Um, so right now we’re uh out in Beckman last few shops and what used to be a petrol station which is just now a car sale place. So yeah, the trouble now is we’ve got the sun popping in and out. At least it’s no PS. Um, at least it’s uh dry now. We had a little bit of that misty rain when I was uh in the woods. [Music] Now, one time I thought it was really chucking it down, but it wasn’t. It was uh it was the leaves coming up the trees. So, uh, we’re going up to 40 miles an hour and, uh, we’re, uh, over the M25, which is down there. You can’t see, but it’s running both ways. Boom. Resolve. [Music] So now we’re back in Abis Langley as the sign very nicely told us. So yeah, won’t be long before we’re uh back home and have some lunch and hungry now. Take a little walk which hungry. I’m always hungry about 12:00. Yeah. Okay. It’s one of those things [Music] we go back into the high street from the other way past uh past the school. So, officially in the village, 20 mph past the library. One of one of the oldest pubs around here, the boy zone. Jesus, just drive at me, mate. Why don’t you? Dear God, some people more than enough room. So yeah, nice steady ride through the village at 20 mph. Actually, we’re only doing 17. But uh yeah, [Music] the bumps. Oh god. Hello. Where’s this one going? Oh, it’s such a big car. I had to swing out to get in. She got some people. This one’s just going to pull out in front of me. Okay, I think he’s in a hurry. They said Dr. doesn’t mean to say can spay. So, I am going to say thanks for watching and uh I’ll catch you on the next one. So, stay safe and uh I’ll um get round this corner, right? And I will say again, thanks for watching and uh bye for now.
