Hey, my bike box strap somehow got ripped by the airline – no clue how as the buckle and all were totally fine before 🤷♂️
Anyone got any tips or have done similar repairs in the past? Most tricky part seems to be finding a replacement buckle as I never got the other side of mine 😅
Basically the strap used to go all the way round and then two sides of a metal buckle would secure the box. Somehow they managed to rip the strap and with that lose the other side of the buckle.

Maybe contact the maker. They should be made aware that their design isn’t airport proof.
