So spoilers for my video but if you don't want to watch, I'll reveal what i noticed on the new 2026 Electric C line:
The head tube of both the C and P line is a larger diameter than the standard C line frame. You can zoom in on this green electric C line here to see what I mean: https://cdn.bfldr.com/XM1XF37H/at/8hv5qjm3fs56vrvbbvt6t4/WGR_Checkerboard.png?auto=webp
I understand this was done on the P line to fit the carbon fork which presumably is the same as the one on the T line. But the use of the larger diameter headtube on the C line is strange to me because it isn't really necessary. The only reason I can think that they would use it, is because the new electric front mount requires that diameter. But either way, it seems to suggest that the larger head tube diameter (which is shared with the G and T line) is going to be a mainstay across the Brompton line up.
I don't see Brompton keeping the weird step up/step down headset converter so I suspect that Brompton will eventually put the aluminum stem from the P line on to the C line. I also think they will phase out the steel fork and go with an aluminium fork to fit the new head tube size. Obviously this is all just speculation on my part but I think it kinda makes sense? Regarding the timeline, I would assume the P line with carbon fork and aluminum stem to come out in 2026 and the C line with new stem and fork (if that is indeed their plan) probably in 2027.
Anyways, I go over the reasons why I think this change is coming in my video. Happy to speculate further here!
