One of the MTB rides I do gets way back I the forest, one day I realized it’s exactly the sort of hidden away spot a cougar would be, and there would be no way for me to defend myself or run away from it.
They “can” work together so if you see one, there is sometimes another one getting in a position…
Edit out “often” since people have their panties in a bind of my attempt to warn people that hanging around snapping pictures isn’t a good idea.

That’s terrifying but also because I own cats I also think it’s adorable. *He thinks he’s being sneaky*.
I’ll have teeth two inches into my jugular and die thinking, oh he’s just trying to play. My cats are monsters.
