Coast Gravity has become legendary in the MTB world—not just for its trails, but for the countless iconic films shot here. Today, I finally get to ride it for myself!
This trip was made possible by Niner Bikes! In this video i’m riding my Niner WFO a 180/170 travel enduro bike!

Coast gravity bike park! https://www.coastgravitypark.ca/
Thanks for watching!
This bike park is literally built on an island. Today we’re exploring Coastgravity Bike Park located in SeaLlet on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada. From Whistler, it’s about a 3 and 1/2 hour drive, but 45 minutes of that you’re literally on a huge cruise ship style ferry that takes you to the island. This ferry holds up to 350 cars and is the same size as the White House. It even has a full kitchen and the views from the boat are unmatched. But before we get off this ferry, let me tell you a little bit about Coastgravity Bike Park. It opened in 2014 and it was built by the Coastal Crew, a group of free ride filmmakers who knew how to build some magical trails. From before the bike park was even opened all the way to today, Coastg Gravity has been known for the insane MTB films that have been shot here. Think about those edits where the jumps look perfect and don’t even seem real. Yeah, that was probably filmed at Coastgravity. And in this video, we get to check some of those lines out. Now, before the comments start rolling in saying Coastgravity isn’t on an island. I hate YouTubers and their clickbait. Well, you’d be correct. Coast gravity isn’t really on an island. It’s on a peninsula. But here’s the thing. The northeast facing end that connects to Squamish and the mainland has no proper roads, just gravel logging routes. If you tried to drive from Whistler to Coast Gravity that way, it would take over 8 hours. So realistically, the only way in or out is by ferry, making it basically an island. And even after I explain this, I know people will still comment, “Oost gravity isn’t on an island, you idiot.” If you see some of those comments, reply with the clown emoji just to confuse them for not watching the full video. Anyway, the fairy ride is over, and now we’ve got a 30-minute drive along the coast of this island before we reach Coast Gravity. After driving up a gravel road for what felt like forever, we finally made it to the park. And even just pulling in, we were already seeing some sick stuff. I was beyond stoked to finally check this place out, and I was here with my friend Grayson. We headed to the check-in building, got our wristbands for the day, and took a look around. This is far from the nicest base camp area I’ve seen at a bike park, but honestly, it adds to the experience here. Yeah, they’ve still got a bike shop with tools and rentals, a first aid station that looks kind of creepy, and a changing room that felt awkwardly nice on the inside. P.S., If you need to use the bathroom, you might as well take a walk into the woods because the porter party had no toilet paper. And that’s why I only have one sock on in this video. I’m kidding, obviously. Come on, guys. All right, enough checking out the base camp area. Let’s hop on the bikes. If you couldn’t already tell, they don’t have a chairlift here. It’s just a van with a trailer shuttle. You load your bike, hop in, and it’s about a 5-minute ride to the top. Pretty quick for a bike park with 700 ft of elevation. At the top, all but one trail drops in from the same hub. They’ve got 17 trails here, but not all of them run top to bottom. Some link in halfway down. All right, let’s drop in for the first lap. Dude, this looks sick. Oh, no. They have some stuff closed. Yeah. Look at that. Oh, sick. Teima performance. One side goes down faster than the other. Hitting dirt wave, which is a blue. Falling Grayson. Oh man. First lap of the day. Oh, you could double that for sure. Dude, the dirt is sick. Oh, a double. Nice. Step down maybe. Yeah. A little shark fin off the route. Yo, that was cool. Yeah. Oh, I just got roosted by Grayson. Yeah, boy. Yeah. So, we’ve been riding Whistler the past like week and Whistler right now it’s crank works so everything is absolutely blown out and this is like this is like a freaking roller coaster of smoothness. Definitely some breaking bones, but nothing compared to Whistler right now. Yeah, boy. Oh, this is sick. Oh, look at that sick drop, dude. That was so good. Yo, look at that fat jump. Oh my god. Oh yo, that was sick. Oh, this is so cool. The trails are insane. Oh my gosh. I might need some air in my tires. Kind of fold it off. There’s no landing through it anymore. Oh. Oh, no. I guess we’re chainless. Chainless. What a crew out here today. We have two full trucks running. I’ll hop on here. Six. Seven. Pretty quick lap. I mean, that lap was probably 7 to 10 minutes. Heading up for lap two, though. Very different. They opened the pro line, which is sweet. We’ll probably definitely have to check that out later. Should with the red. I think red dragon sounds pretty sweet. Apparently, red is like between a blue and a black. So, might as well might as well check it out. Oh, this is more of a tech, maybe. Yeah, I got a different line than you. All right, we’re hitting a hand job. Seems like a more of a tech trail for sure. Oh my gosh. Yo, that got chunky. Oh, I need to put some more air in my tires. Oh, shoot. Oh, dang. I should have committed to that. That was sick. This looks like a pump track. Yeah, you better get good at bumping, boy. With no chain. Oh, this is sick. Holy crap. Oh, this is so cool. That was cool. I’m bottomed out hard, dude. This is so cool, baby. That’s like the second time you’ve done that. Oh, that was sick. I’m going to go put a little bit of air in my tire. Spike stand is freaking clapped out. Dude, this is a nice pump. I don’t even It’s running about 24 in the front and I bet the back’s even less, but 28 in the rear as well. I’m going to guess it’s around 25. Oh, shoot. Ramdinger. Oh, dude. I had 19 in the rear. Holy crap. This little shuttle shack is so cool. Little lounge shock war suite. Why are you running? That’s impressive. That’s impressive. That’s the first time I’ve seen a track guy running. I’m hit devil’s elbow. That’s a single plot. Drop going into it. Oh my gosh, that’s stick. That’s steep. Not stick. That’s I don’t know what I just said there. Have you ever had a dream that you um you had you you would you could you do gap? Another gap. Oh, this is so cool. I love dude. The tech here is actually pretty gnarly, too. Oh, what is this drop? Yo, little hip again. Nice hip. Oh, I hit my head on the on the branch. Mr. Green. Heck no. Heck no. Now, Mr. Green. Oh, look at this root drop over here. Yeah. Trout. We’ll hit something else every going to try to hit all the trails today, which will be sweet. Definitely need to go check out some of the double blacks, though. I think that’s where we’re going to find a good nice jump. All right, I’m following Sterling down the pro line. He’s a 15year-old local ripper. Um he’s going to show me some of the line, show me some of the way. I might might commit to some. Might um save some for next lap. But here we go. Oh. Oh, dude. This is sweet. Holy crap. This is sick. Oh my gosh. This kid’s ripping, too. I think my back tire is hella low. Yeah, my back tire is super low. Yo, this is sick. Yeah. Oh no. Oh no, it’s so flat. Yeah, almost. Is it famous? Yeah. I picked up an edge of a pin on my magnet. Oh no. I don’t know whose it is. It’s not mine. Oh, it is mine. A rip. I start in the woods. [Music] Oh, my batter is so low. Oh, dude. Look at that shark fin. Yeah, boy. Dude, this stuff is no joke. This stuff is big for sure. Yo. Oh, my back tire. My back end is everywhere. Yeah, boy. Yo, look at this stuff. This is insane. Holy sheesh. But yeah, pretty pretty fat dent and it just every time you put pressure on it just let some air out. So that that sucks. We get a bad hand. I’m there. [Music] forever. Back in business, baby. Let’s go. All right. One messy tube change later. I got sillin all over me and my hands are all sticky, but we’re heading up for lap five. All right. Going to hit most of the stuff this time. Hopefully. right there. Yes, sir. You got this big jump. Yeah, definitely give that one a yank. [Music] Oh man, that’s an insane hip, dude. That hip like launches you backwards. Yeah, it’s insane. Pretty sick, dude. Pretty big. Yeah, dude. You guys are growing down. Get ripped. Yo. [Music] Yes, sir. All right. Here we go. He’s got the big one. Yeah. Oh my gosh, that’s huge. Yo, that is so big. Oh, and I get down. Dude, those are fat. Oh my gosh. Here we go. So good. Oh, it gets to my shot. Dude, that was such a sick lap. All right, Starling’s on the niner. Said he’s gonna try to will you? Look how big it is on it. It looks like a huge bicycle. Think you got it? Maybe. Run at me and stop you right in front of me. Don’t hit me, boy. Nice pedal. Damn it. Pedal. Damn it. Painted into every single one of Nino’s bikes. That’s good. can’t even load his bike, but he can throw 90 whips. I’ll be able to load your bike. I don’t know. Maybe. You think? Cuz it’s bigger. It’s like lighter. Lighter. Yeah, maybe. Pretty tall. Oh, that’s way. Hey, there you go. All right, we’re hitting Coastal Cruise again. A top to bottom run. Got Grayson behind me. Hit this Manny. This what I’m thinking about the cash never ends just came natural. I’ve been tested so much all these restless nights all these different situations that I’ve been through. I see pain trying to creep in through the window but now you got to separate yourself. I keep on right there. You got to press the brakes. I got a lesson plan mistakes. I swear I touch the ground. I know I made mistakes, but my mama proud my lyrics out in the background. Yeah, I cannot hear that. You got to roll the dice. Just like [Music] this again. You got to roll the dice different. Dude, that’s so big. I’m so like tricked up on directly out of the burn. I know. They’re actually insane. I’m kind of riding it like a spine. Like you have to suck up. You just kind of like a The easiest jump here. What? The shark. Oh, yeah. All you have to do is roll off. Yeah. If you live here, it’s a jump. If you just All right. So, we’re heading to the top of Coastal, which is the pro line that we’ve been hitting. And then he has another line off to the side that’s called Light. I like taste that. And he said it’s pretty sick. Apparently, they’re bigger than these. Kind of long and low. And then the last step up is really good. Oh, that was not a sketch. All I hear is How many jumps are there? Like six or seven. All right, we’re going to walk it first. Check it out. Camera definitely does not show how deep this is, but this is definitely some elevation drop from there to there. This one’s probably like 15 ft somewhere in here. So, it doesn’t Okay, this one’s pretty fat. This one right here is pretty big. Apparently, this one’s around 40 ft. Yeah. If I clean this one, I’m down to hit that one. What do you think? I’ll hit it. Yeah, I’ll follow you into it. All right. Sweet. All right. Proline fly deck. First up, here we go. Oh my gosh, that went deep on that. Oh, this step up looks sick. Holy Good lord. I went deep. I came up way short on I came up short, long, perfect, long. Let’s do that again. That was perfect. God, keep on going so flat on that. About to get a clip of Grayson and Sterling. Yo. Oh my gosh. That was Look at the drift. Oh my gosh, bro. You almost died. I did. Holy Holy crap. I hope I got a good shot of it. Oh my gosh. Look at that stroke. This kid almost died. Look, I did. You hit him. Yo, cranked my butt off and hit that hit that step up. That buckle. Uh, yeah. Anyway, for real now. I’ll taste it. All right, we’re hitting Coastal Cruise top to bottom. Got Grayson on the camera, me on the follow cam. So, let’s get it, boy. You’re going to have to be a vlogger. Okay, guys. I’m casing the crap out of this shark. Everybody in the city and I think you know get it out. Get it out. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Dude, I got him, but I I went super dead on the second one. Yo, no way. No way. dropped into the forbidden line on accident. You would not believe what I just did. What? I just dropped into the Remy line. No way. You should have hit it. All right, so we’re at the top of Dynamite Panther. It is a tech trail and we just saw like some of it. There’s a pretty cool rock slab. So, about to drop in, have some fun on this trail. What do you have to say, Grayson? How’s it been? Been sick. But yeah, it’s been sweet. Let’s drop into this trail, get a tech run. This is a black tech trail. Um, starts a little bit higher, probably at 800t elevation right here. Um, yeah, let’s get it. Oh my gosh. Oh See, my back wheel’s actually about to explode. Oh, this is so cool. Totally hit the worst line right through there. Yo. Oh, drag right into another trail. This is where Grayson freaking dropped off this vertical drop. All right, I’m going to follow you close. [Music] Super nose heavy on that. Yo, what a sick day. Coast gravity, baby.
