Video: Riding some loamers in Rotorua NZ.
I'm overwhelmed with options! Trailforks has too many trails haha. We are a couple from Queenstown NZ who love a bit of everything, but mostly some black tech and adventure trails. Not so much big jumps.
We wish to spend two weeks based in two locations, riding a bit of park and doing one or two epic days lift assisted out traversing the alpine to another town.
We would ideally also like to visit a UCI DH tour stop, as we were thinking of being there in July 2026. Looks like Andorra or Italy.

What are some great lift assisted days out where you catch the lifts up and pedal your way down / across to another town? Would love some ideas and locations of where we might be based to access this. We race enduro sometimes, so prefer this kind of riding.

As we are flying in we will have bike bags etc. We are not doing it super cheap but I'm curious to hear what people have done in terms of getting to accom. If we are spending time only in two places with a side quest to Andora, is it more sensible to rent a car and get accom?

We come from the touristy town on Queenstown which we love, but I'm equally interested in finding a slightly less hectic place to visit on our trip.
Thanks in advance.
Some suggestions for two kiwis who want to spend 2 weeks riding in Europe.

I did the sella Ronda in the Dolomites and it was fantastic. Basically 7 lifts or so all in a circle. 24 miles or so.
Finale Ligure in Italy.
Portes du Soleil is probably the go-to spot in Europe
Sounds like a nice trip ! !
