Welcome to the greatest competition in the land. The magic of the FA Cup is back. A trophy which dates all the way back to 1871 and the trophy that everyone loves. Cups sets, magical stories, and great trips out. What isn’t there to love? And today I visit Scum United as they take on Kingsland Town. Last time out, this game was feisty, but at Glamford Park, it could all change. We’re on the road to 5,000 subscribers, and we’re trying to get there as soon as possible. So, if you enjoy this video, make sure to subscribe. There’s a league difference between the sides, but in the FA Cup, anything can happen. Well, here we go. The start of our journey today. It is 8:00 in the morning. We’re starting a Norwich bus station, getting to Kingslin, then going from Kingslin to Scumfort. Come on. Big day in the FA Cup. A little information on Scumfort United. The team Kingslin are up against today. They used to be an AFL side playing in the Championship, but they dropped all the way down to the National League North after a lot of ownership problems. But now after winning in the playoffs, they are back in the National League. So it’s going to be an interesting day because they are flying in the National League and a win today. It’s a first game in the FA Cup first round proper. Well, here we go. Arrived in Lyn. You can see the bus station is just behind me. Now it’s time to get to the walks and get on the road to Scum. We’re now taking a walk through the walks to get the coach to Scum. I think there’s going to be a decent attendance from Lind fans today. Two coaches sold out, I reckon. Good couple hundred is my guess, but we’ll see when the attendance figures are announced. Either way though, I’m looking forward to this one. It’s going to be a great day out. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of FA Cup action? [Music] We touch down here in Scumfor. And I’ve got to say the ground from the outside, it’s not the nicest. There’s not really a lot around, but it’s what’s inside that really matters. [Music] Well, you can see touchdown here and scum fork. These two blocks, Kingsland take over, and this little one here. And the rest is all home fans. But to be fair, it’s nice little tiny ground inside. Very old school. Well, I mean getting in obviously it’s a bit weird outside of the ground, but once you’re in very old school, everything pretty not run down, but definitely old school style. I mean, it is pretty old stadium. It’s been up for a good 30 years probably. So, to be fair, you can understand why. I mean, how about that up there? I’m guessing that some sort of media section, but that’s rather funny. Just poked out on the top of the stand. Today is not just only a massive day for Kings Lim, but it is for Scum For as well. A proper first round tie if you win this. And I mean, everyone wants to get there. It’s a nice weigh in to be fair. Perfect for the level it’s at. I mean, it’s quite small in height, but to be fair, you could fit a fair amount because it goes all the way across the back of this goal. So, definitely good for this level. The lineups from both sides are now out. And the key one for Kingslin is Glonan starts obviously captain against his old side, the captain. He was a scum for last season, helped them get promoted and was captain of that side. So, it’s obviously a big day for him. I think he’ll get a good reception. Scum For on the other hand, Callum Roberts, he’s the one to watch. He is on fire. He’s unreal. He’s going to be a danger. We got to keep him quiet and then we’re good. Here we go then. F Cup time, ladies and gentlemen. Come on, kids. Let’s get in the first round and knock out today. This is going to be a big one and it’s massive for the town. Here we go. And the FA Cup is underway. Who’s getting to the first round? Just first few minutes in, the game’s really just getting started. And the atmosphere is brewing. Heat. Heat. You are going to he does it against he always does it again. He done it last time now and it’s the exact same type of goal. It’s a header in the fans are loving it. Kills little when they’re up. Come on boys. to know how that’s not ended up. He’s ran through everyone and it’s somehow not ended up in. We take those. We’re really holding on at the minute, but anything that doesn’t go in, we’re taking at this minute. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Come on. Unbelievable. And that’s definition of half and hitting it. Take it out. Unbelievable. was 10 to go in this half. Good teams will come back for this, but if we can keep them to not score time, it’s looking good. Oh, this is not a good place for a free kick right before Halime. And with that, the referee blew for Halime. Halime here. Two nil up. You can’t really complain. First round here we come hopefully. Second half underway. Scoreful playing this again. Jesus. Scumford going for it. They just made three changes. Stumpford doing all they can to score but they can’t put it in the net. It’s not good now. 30 minutes to go. Scumford got one back. All it takes is two more and they’ve fully turned around this game. But we’re hopeful we can hold on. He’s just gone round deeper and tapped into an open net. But ball split through and come for 2-1 now to Kings Lindo. Not scum. Come on boys. 20 minutes to go. Can we hold on? Oh my god, this is getting me. Oh no, just no. [Applause] Oh, that’s such heartbreak. I told you good teams can get you in the second half with a two-nil lead and scum fork have done that and showed it. Can Lynn fight back with a last push? Is it going to go to a replay or the scum fork going to nick it? It could go any way now. I really can’t predict it. Scum for fans came alive. Now we’ve got to try to see out 10 minutes without conceding. So unlucky. It’s just that final touch. Heat up here. [Applause] I’m lost for words. It’s so so disappointing. 85th minute. Oh, mate. I can’t fault the players. We put in so much effort to get that lead and try and see it out, but the step above has just shown in this second half. Scum fork fall back. I said it wasn’t over. Oh, that is such a heartbreak. Yeah, but you can see it happening. They’ve been the better side this half. That goes in and it’s game over. We’ve got 2 minutes now to throw everything at it. We’ve just got to go for it. Get that replay. [Applause] Uh yeah, that’s game over. 9 minutes was Hazardon. Scum fork. Got straight up the other end and whacked in. And it was that man I said to us, he’s been cutting in getting it all game and he is dangerous and he’s put one away. Kingsson’s FA Cup run is going to be over. So frustrating after that first half performance, but SC for showed their brilliance Well, there we go. I said 200 away, fans. 198. So, I was very close. Roberts can’t believe, by the way, he’s just hit the bar again. He could be on hattick. Well, I mean, you’ve got to rate the effort. We was now leaving Scum For and it wasn’t meant to be today, but it is what it is. We move on to the league. Congratulations to Scum Forb on getting through to the next round.
