  1. Eh, I feel like I prefer extreme sports that don't affect random strangers who didn't sign up for it. If I died as a pro mountain climber, surfer, skydiver, etc., then only paramedics or other professionals who all signed up accepting they have to deal with such a possibility have to be affected. If I'm pulling stunts in a busy city street, then its not just my life at risk, it will very likely traumatize innocent bystanders that were unwillingly involved.

  2. everyone in the comments bitching about helmets should know that helmets are the reason canada and america has such shitty biking infrastructure. In the 70s there was this huge push for infrastructure but then there were some people who rejected the notion and believed that cyclists should “take their place on the road” they believed there was no need to baby cyclists by putting them on a different route than cars. This idiotic philosophy ended up winning out in north america (because it was easier and cheaper than altering the car centric roads) which in turn led to a massive rise in accidents involving cyclists in which they were seriously injured. This in turn led to the push to wear helmets. But if you look at a country like the netherlands which actually has good cycling infrastructure, the vast majority of dutch cyclists do NOT WEAR HELMETS and yet their rate of injuries and accidents involving cyclists are way lower than north america. It’s almost like not wearing helmets isn’t the actual problem 🤔

  3. This fixed riding stuff is so stupid I don't understand it one bit. I love cycling I have multiple great bikes and I managed to crash them multiple times (I broke some bones one time) even with brakes!! Cycling the normal way is dangerous enough, this is just unnecessary. Riding without brakes is not just dangerous for yourself but also for your bank account. If this man rear-ended a car that suddenly brakes no insurance will cover the damages because of reckless driving on your part. Just not worth it at all.

  4. WooooW??? Thee Training Wheels Convoy of Comments… Fixed-Rider Showing Off in th Streets and This is Bad???😔😔😞

  5. Por 300 gramos mas podrias tener una coaster-brake y no estar al borde de la muerte cada vez que sales a andar, mantener la estética minimalista y ser un ciclista mas responsable.. no se, piensalo

  6. Folks in the comments don't realize this is probably the safest environment to be riding like that in. Bike lanes on four lane city streets are 100x more dangerous without or without a helmet.
