Currently upgrading my discs to 180mm from 160mm and I've encountered an issue on the front brake. The disc itself is hitting the caliper itself and not rotating at all. The frame natively supports 160/180 discs, so I know the frame is comptaible. Am I missing something obvious here? It's not happening on the rear caliper/disc setup.

Can I rotate the thru axle area to push the wheel forward a bit, or am I missing the 45mm rake installation?

I’m not familiar with that particular fork, but it seems logical that if the axle is in the rearward position you would need to use the adapter that spaced the caliper further back.

Generally if there’s a flip chip you need to put spacers under the adapter when in the rear position. In your pictures I see spacers on the mounting screws on top of the adapter; if those came with the fork they are likely the right size.

You have a flip-chip and it is set-up backwards. I think you already answered your own question: you have to install the spacer šŸ˜‰
