  1. The Merida has gravel shifting (GRX) and hydraulic discbrakes and DTSwiss wheels wich i’d prefer over the brakes and wheels of the specialized.
    If you want a gravel bike I’d go for the merida because of the better gear ratio you’ll probably have (need more info to verify, I can’t really tell what components are on the specialized.)

    I assume both are secondhand bikes meaning it really depends on the condition of both bike to decide which one is the better option. Ask them how much the bikes were ridden and what parts have been exchanged or have to be exchanged. Chain, Cassette, Brake-Pads, Brake-Discs can be worn and cost you extra money to exchange or even worse when the wheels/hubs have problems. The Meirda is way newer so maybe used less than the specialized.
