I was prepping my grizl for a gravel ride and found this tiny thing. Originally thought it's just dirt, but it won't come off. Haven't crashed or fallen over in at least a month. No idea how old it is. Is it safe to ride until replacement arrives?

Had to stare 2 min at the pic to see what are you talking about.
Its fine. Dont overthink it
It’ll probably hold up for a while, but it’s possible it may snap the next time you try to use a hanger alignment tool on it.
Should be fine, but I would order a new hanger and replace it
the worst thing that can happen is that your rear derailleur will not work when the derailleur hanger gets broken
Time for a new bike
Just carry a spare hanger with you š
Bro come on of course it’s safe.
Fatigue crack.
If you want, you can drill out the crack tip to keep it from propagating.
Derailleur hangers are sacrificial parts meant to be consumed. Iād order two, replace it when they arrive, save the second, and ride the bike in the meantime.
