Bought a new to me 2022 Salsa Blackthorn Carbon SLX a week ago, seriously loving the bike other than it’s a little heavier than I would expect but certainly manageable. But the front badge is off!!

Obviously the bike is totally un-rideable without this crucial piece of decoration. Any suggestions to stick it back on for good?

Aesthetically I really just want the adhesive I use to be neat or undetectable at a glance

Side note: does anyone know what derailleur hanger this bike uses?!? I can’t find any solid info on that?

I’d go for some good double sided tape. VHB tape if there’s any gap that needs filled.

But first I’d email Salsa. I’m sure they’d also be able to help with your hanger issues.

Super glue or epoxy on the badge. I find epoxy is usually the most difficult to spot.

  3. 3M sells an automotive-grade dual sided tape that will work well for this application. You should just take your time and cut to shape.

DH for Salsa split pivot is part #465

  4. According to my calculations with super three-dimensional gravitational acceleration and calculating that someone in my city is nine years old and owns a Santa Cruz Bronson I can calculate that it is enough to take a dog and attach it together with the logo on the chassis

I have the same bike but a 2025, and my emblem is peeling up a bit on the sides, too.

Mix up a 2 part clear epoxy and brush on the back. Easier method is buy a botte of gel crazy glue w a brush in the cap and use that. Gorilla glue makes both.
