Not sure where you are, but that’s a £30-£50 bike here.

I looked online. I saw them selling for between $100 and $300. I would have no problem paying $100 for it , just because it looks clean and I want to try riding it

Have a look at places like FB marketplace and Craigslist for common list prices for triple chainring aluminum road bikes from the early 2000s. That is the best indicator for what it is worth.
If you level the seat, in HCOL PNW it has a list price of 250-400+ USD.

West Coast Canada these sell around $400 – $500

$300. It looks to be in nice condition. If it rides as well as it looks it’ll sell easily.

Honestly hold onto it til the spring. I have a bike thats in the same condition, similar parts, 13 years newer, thats sitting at 250 for over a month now. In the spring someone will buy it for the color. I would say 300 (more like 200) max but you’re only going to get 100 in the fall.

Pretty entry level even during its time I’d pay around 250$ for it

My first road bike.Loved the bike but even with a better set of wheels and a few other parts probably not worth more than 1-200 USD
