Here lies a 2023 Santa Cruz Tall Boy size large in Gloss Ultra Blue with a tad over a season's worth of riding. The bike has been maintained and assembled professionally by ACME bicycles. Phenomenal condition with the usual scuffs/scrapes on the rims and cranks from our terrain. The Rockshox Pike Ultimate was added in the 2024 riding season and rides like new. The groupset was recently serviced with a new chain installed along with a new dropper cartridge. What in the actual fuck. So he transfers ownership to you officially, you pay him, the bike is technically owned by a financing company, and he will then continue paying 2k in payments?
Make the math make sense and don’t forget to include how much he paid into it already.
4000 is a lot more than 1500. It’s a lovely bike, but don’t buy it to help him out!
Second hand bike market is in the drain which is why no one is buying this bike for 4k. Even for 3k it’ll take a while to find a seller. Don’t feel rushed or forced to pay over the odds for your “friends” bike.
