But you got the order of operations correct. That’s the shape that’ll get you over a log at low speed. So you need to adjust your timing a bit, that’ll come with repetition.
You got the ingredients already dude. I found it helpful to put 2×4 and 2×6 boards on their side as hop target practice, they fall over if you mess up or even if you graze them.

Technique looks pretty good to me. Maybe your suspension took all your bounce?
I know some can hop really high on FS.. but I wonder if they tune their suspension for hopping (instead of trail)
As others said looks pretty much like you are on the way. You can push the bar fwd more to help bring the rear up higher instead of trying to / only relying on scooping.

It’s a bit hard to tell in slow motion, but it almost looks like you have everything right, but you’re not exploding up with enough force. Like, you’re hanging out in the manual phase too long.
I’m going to try to describe this with words, so bear with me.
Up until about 4 seconds in, everything looks good. Then your hips start to scoot forward towards the stem like you’re trying to avoid falling over backward or something. That motion is absorbing so much potential height in the final bunny hop. Instead of everything happening in one big smooth explosive motion, you’re doing a mini-manual to hop out. Which is cool, but not what you’re going for.
Again, this would be easier to see at full speed, I think. My advice is to just keep practicing. You have the basics, but you need to dial in the timing better and push with more conviction.

They don’t, other people are just better, do this for a year or two and you won’t think the same. Decent bunny, if you could implement that into jumps even now you’d be surprised.

If you look at this video.. at 2:57 you can see that his suspension is a freaking pogo stick.. not something you’d ever ride on a trail
